AEA webinars offer professional learning without leaving your home or office. Conducted online, these programs keep you up-to-date on education best practices, and subjects of interest for education professionals. New webinars are added every month. CEUs are available.
AEA edChats occur once a month throughout the school year. Most have a theme or focus on a specific subject or grade level. All edChats feature a set of questions that the chat participants respond to and discuss. Chats usually last one hour.
AEA has multiple professional learning cohorts. This format allows for the group to come together and formulate strong relationships around similar interests or subject matter.
The Education Policy and Professional Practice (EPPP) Department hosts statewide and regional professional learning events to promote programs for the improvement of teaching and learning and fostering professional growth to hone leadership skills. Recognizing that all AEA members possess a great deal of experience and expertise to be shared with colleagues around instructional, educational support, and leadership issues, the EPPP Department is utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
